The installation of Netlon's
Advanced Turf System has been a revelation for the events area and has allowed
its continued use during times of heavy rainfall, hosting such events as the City
Spectacular Show and Keith Emmett's Travelling Funfair....
The Funfair, including individual items of equipment weighing up to 45 tonnes,
operated at Campbell Park for 10 days during the exceptionally wet November of
2000...
When it left the Netlon
Advanced Turf area was intact, without a rut to be seen. Beyond the Netlon area
it was a very different story.
