The specialised nature of horse racing and equestrian applications requires a specialised response. Netlon works with StrathAyr™ of Australia to design, develop and install suitable facilities based on the ReFlex® mesh element system of the Netlon Group.

Now, StrathAyr, works within the Trackwise® consortia to provide a single capability to design, supply and install racing, equine and equestrian facilities anywhere in the world.

The StrathAyr Track incorporating ReFlex mesh elements provides a load bearing capacity equivalent to a secondary bitumen road. Further, the incorporation of the mesh elements prevents compaction and enables rootzone aeration which encourages vigorous turf growth and rapid repair. The concept provides for a high growth rootzone environment with rapid drainage rates, reduced divoting, increased moisture retention, quicker wear recovery... and maintains a healthier turf all year round!

The system provides a consistent surface whether wet or dry. There has never been a wet weather cancellation on a StrathAyr Track.
